How does it work?

Attach your ProChip FLEX to your bike or carry it round your ankle, using the strap. Detection antennas are installed at the start and finish of the course and at intermediate points. If your ProChip FLEX crosses one of these antennas, that exact time is measured, processed by the system and uploaded to the Internet. On your personal account at mylaps.com you can have free and unlimited access to your results.

Your personal data

Your training and event results are uploaded by the track's system or race officials. You can check, analyze and share your performance data on your personal account online. Simply create a personal account and register your chip.

Activate your ProChip FLEX

Before you are able to use your ProChip FLEX, you are required to do a one-time activation in ProChip FLEX Manager. Please note, that the ProChip FLEX Manager software is only compatible with Windows systems. Plug the ProChip FLEX into your computer by using the USB connection.

With the USB connection you can easily check your ProChip’s battery status, see how long your current subscription lasts and renew your subscription by connecting the ProChip FLEX to your computer: just take of the cap and plug it into your computer’s USB port.

Note: the ProChip FLEX comes with a built-in battery that will last for approximately 5 years: there is no need to recharge it.

Subscription

The ProChip FLEX comes with a subscription that is valid for 1, 2 or 5 years. This period starts as soon as you activate your chip via ProChip Flex Manager. It can be extended with another 1, 2 or 5 years. Additional subscriptions are available here:

Easy to set up and maintain

Using your lightweight ProChip FLEX is easy: simply wear it on your leg with the provided ankle strap. You can check your ProChip FLEX’s current subscription and battery status by connecting it to ProChip FLEX Manager or by shaking it for 5 seconds: the built-in LED light will flash twice to indicate the status. ProChips are weather and shockproof and if they get soiled, simply use a soft brush and some clean lukewarm water to clean yours.

Insurance and Warranty

Your subscription comes with insurance. It covers damage as a result of accident or fire – but not theft or loss. This means MYLAPS will guarantee the device keeps working and is in good order. We provide an unlimited guarantee for the duration of your subscription. Should any problems occur during normal use – as described in the manual – MYLAPS will repair or replace your transponder free of charge.

Warranty and Insurance

Your MYLAPS transponder or chip comes with warranty and insurance. It covers damage as a result of accident or fire – but not theft or loss.
This means MYLAPS guarantees that the device keeps working and is in good order.

If you have a TR2 Transponder, X2 Transponder, Flex Transponder or ProChip with a valid subscription, we provide unlimited warranty
as long as you have an active subscription, under some conditions. Should any problems occur during normal use – as described in the manual –
MYLAPS will repair or replace your transponder free of charge. All details can be found in our warranty policy.
