All transponders send out a different signal, so an unlimited number of transponders can participate in a race simultaneously: no more video signal errors!
Please check with your race organization if MYLAPS DR5 Transponders are supported. A MYLAPS RC4 Decoder with firmware 4.5 or newer is required to be able to use DR5 Transponders.

Installing the DR5 Transponder onto your drone
Power connection:
Connect the transponder to a power source between 3.5V .. 18V.
The transponder typically comes with a servo connector, so you need a contra servo connector to connect to the transponder. If there is no contra servo connector available, you can cut off the power connector and solder the wires to whichever connector needed.
Another option is to connect the transponder to the balancer connector of the LiPo cell, using a conversion PCB.

Your MYLAPS transponder or chip comes with warranty and insurance. It covers damage as a result of accident or fire – but not theft or loss. This means MYLAPS guarantees that the device keeps working and is in good order.
If you have a TR2 Transponder, X2 Transponder, Flex Transponder or ProChip with a valid subscription, we provide unlimited warranty as long as you have an active subscription, under some conditions. Should any problems occur during normal use – as described in the manual – MYLAPS will repair or replace your transponder free of charge. All details can be found in our warranty policy.
